My thought about this Best Global Brands 2016 report by Interbrand

Top 20 Best Global Brands 2016 by Interbrand see many familiar brands. No wonder Apple and Google claims top positions as the most valuable brands. Their incredibly massive values also leaves the others in the dust. On another front, Facebook and Amazon enjoys the highest growth rates. Technology industry dominates the top 20, following by automotive, then retail, apparel, sports, etc. The trend is likely to continue, at least in the next couple of years.
Interbrand explains their ranking is based on three key components that contribute to a brand’s cumulative value: 1) The financial performance of the branded products and services; 2) The role the brand plays in influencing customer choice; and 3) The strength the brand has to command a premium price or secure earnings for the company.
Looking at the ranking, I just recall one of my marketing classes. If you compare this list to the ones of previous decades, you can’t believe how fast the world has been changing.
