This year I represented Vietnamese Entrepreneurship Society in Finland at the world’s leading startup and tech event right at the heart of Helsinki. (Slush actually gifted our organization the tickets, which meant a lot to us as it is a sign that they acknowledge our existence and contribution to the Finnish scene.)
We kicked off Slush week last Wednesday with our side event, Vietnam Networking Night 2019. In this special evening, we gathered Vietnam-connected experts and outstanding talents together to share and connect. We had the honor to welcome professionals from Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, GOInternational Finland, Headai, F1 Vietnam Grand Prix, Hanoi Innovation Summit, Dreamplex Coworking Space, Startup Sesame, Aalto EE, EY, Bosch, and more. A lot of them are working hard every day to build bridges between Asia and Europe. We also met many entrepreneurial-minded talents who are working on their own ventures (e.g., Rens Original, gaIoTa, Reactron) or have an excellent track record in their own fields.
We are stoked to see new connections made and existing relationships fostered. It is our ultimate goal to facilitate knowledge transfer between the startup ecosystems of Vietnam and Finland. ?

VietES’s vision is to incubate Vietnam-connected startups in Finland by combining the strengths of the ecosystems of Finland and Vietnam. We want to inspire, educate, and connect Vietnamese entrepreneurs, and building top-notch Vietnam-connected professional network.
